781 mm average rainfall so far recorded in Chhattisgarh
Raipur, August 20, 2010 - Chhattisgarh in the current monsoon session on the morning of August 20 to a June average rainfall recorded 781.3 mm. 1317.7 mm average rainfall is highest in the state so far recorded in Bastar district.

Surguja 417.7 mm in the district,
Jashpur district 507.8 mm,
651.2 mm in Raigarh district,

Chhattisgarh Water Storage Status as on 26th July 2010 - In last 2-3 days, their are heavy rains in Chhattisgarh, because of heavy rains the water level of Chhattisgarh reservoirs are increased. The water storage capacity in 41 major irrigation reservoirs of 13 districts of Chhattisgarh is 6400.239 Million Cubic Meter.
Today on 26th july, their are 22520775 Million Cubic Meter water is stored in the 41 main reservoirs of 13 district of Chhattisgarh. This number of water storage is 35.20 % of total Chhattisgarh water storage. Read Full Post »
