Chhattisgarh Parivar get Rs 3574 lacs in aid in past three and a half years

Chhattisgarh is running National Family Support Plan to give economic support to family living below the poverty line and whose family head earning livelihood died for some reason. The Chhattisgarh financial assistance scheme is like god sent help to unsupported family left behind due death of the earning head of poor class.

Under the scheme in the past three and a half years of Chhattisgarh state in nearly 35700 Hitgrahi or beneficiaries have got financial assistance. Nearly 35 crore 74 lakh rupees has been spent on National Family Support Plan in Chhattisgarh.

One time grant of Rs 10000/- is given to head of family heirs on death of family head earning the livelihood aged between 18 to 65 years who live below the poverty line.

- Dhamtari district 1175 Hitgrahi family
- Durg district 3790 Hitgrahi family
- Rajnandgaon district 1831 Hitgrahi family
- Bilaspur district 3475 Hitgrahi family
- Korba district 1993 Hitgrahi family
- Raigarh district 2430 Hitgrahi family
- Bastar district 3740 Hitgrahi family
- Dantewada district 1540 Hitgrahi family

- Jashpur district 846 Hitgrahi family

All Chhattisgarh families above mentioned have been provided with Rs Ten Thousand Rupees financial assistance.
